Postharvest processing, packaging and storage of African oil bean seed

The underutilization of African oil bean seed necessitated the study its post-harvest operations. This work reviews status research on postharvest processes Oil Bean (AOB) seed. Information was sought through a search query with processing, packaging and storage as keywords Google Scholar, internet, publishers' website, textbooks oral interview local processors. results showed that researchers have focused fermentation, proximate, phytochemical, mineral vitamins composition AOB seeds. also revealed dearth characterization, improved variety, packaging, storage, value addition extraction from Research handling, processing is imperative for optimal utilization seed, to prevent prevalent losses.
